In 2009 the American Dietetic Association has revised and reaffirmed that position: The position of the American Dietetic Association says that vegetarian diets properly planned, including dieting completely vegetarian or vegan, unhealthy, nutricionalmentes appropriate and may provide health benefits in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases.
